Brown County Central Library will be holding a 50th birthday block party celebrating its golden anniversary.
The celebration is set to take place on Saturday, September 14th, from noon to 3:00 p.m.
The block party will commemorate the Central Library’s significant role in the community over the past five decades.
The event will offer family-friendly activities that will look back on the library’s history along with LEGO and pollinator games and the “Things That Go Go Go” Car and Truck Jam.
There will also be local food trucks on location at the library for guests to enjoy. The block party is free of charge and open to all ages.
Additionally, 70’s themed clothing is encouraged to embrace the spirit of 1974 when the library first opened its doors.
