One of the highlights of the holiday season in Manitowoc is the annual holiday parade.
For the past 35 years, local businesses, organizations, and non-profits have constructed holiday-themed floats, and helped get people ready for the holiday season.
Registration is now open for the 36th annual Lakeshore Holiday Parade, which is scheduled for Wednesday, November 27th.
There will once again be a sensory-sensitive zone between South 14th and 12th Streets, where lights and music will not be allowed.
Entries are judged, with winners being announced publicly and trophies presented at the December Common Council meeting.
Space is limited to 80 entries, so interested organizations should register early by going to VisitManitowoc.com/LHP.
