The brand new Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Center for Health Care Excellence is being unveiled today (September 6th).
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled to take place at Lakeshore College, formerly known as Lakeshore Technical College, at 10:30 this morning.
The new 26,000-square-foot health care instructional facility will allow Lakeshore to double its capacity to train new healthcare workers as the demand continues to grow.
The $6 million project was paid for in part by a $3 million check from the Lakeshore College Foundation, which also included $1 million from Froedtert Health and Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity.
The ribbon cutting will be held at the Lakeshore Building at the college located at 1290 North Avenue in Cleveland.
