An Appleton author has released the fifth book in his post-apocalypse series “Guardians of Rockport”, and this one is set in Manitowoc and Two Rivers.
David Eldon Jones’ book entitled “The Deception” is set one year after civilization collapsed, and Rockport, a fictional town in Calumet County, is in desperate need of resources.
The titular guardians are able to find allies in Two Rivers, which has continued its tradition of being a fishing hub.
Additionally, modern-day pirates from Milwaukee have taken over the city of Manitowoc and commandeered the S.S. Badger.
