The murder trial for the Cantu brothers has been postponed until February.
FOX11 reports that the trial, which was scheduled for yesterday, will now begin on February 10th.
Gustavo Cantu, Alejandro Cantu, and Jacob Ventura were each charged with being a party to the crime of the first-degree intentional homicide of Randall Denny and were set to stand trial together.
Ventura has since given a statement that implicated the Cantu brothers in the case, and now the delayed trial will only include the brothers.
The initial incident took place on April 30th, 2022, at the intersection of Perkins and Western Avenues in Green Bay.
The killing of Denny appeared to have been the result of a drug deal gone bad.
As of right now, no separate trial date has been set for Ventura and his role in the incident.
