One person is dead, and three others are severely injured following a head-on collision in Oconto County.
On Sunday (September 8th), just after 5:30 p.m., the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office reported to the crash on State Highway 32 near Sparky’s Lane in the Town of Mountain.
The crash involved Subaru and Chevrolet SUVs, both of which were observed to have severe damage when deputies arrived.
The Subaru was traveling north on 32 and was operated by a 15-year-old female, a 54-year-old male passenger, and a 51-year-old female passenger, all from Lake Tomahawk.
The 51-year-old woman was pronounced dead on the scene as a result of her injuries.
Both the driver and male passenger were immediately transported to local hospitals.
The Chevrolet SUV was driven by a 30-year-old Fond du Lac man traveling southbound.

Preliminary investigations revealed the Chevrolet SUV entered the southbound lane and struck the Subaru head-on, but the investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing.
