A garage fire in Appleton has caused thousands of dollars worth of damage.
WBAY reports that the Appleton Fire Department received the call reporting a structure fire just before 8:00 p.m. yesterday (September 10th) in the 1100 block of Bell Avenue.
Visible smoke and flames were reported on the call, and when crews arrived, they saw an unattached garage at a residence engulfed in the blaze.
The fire department was able to get the flames under control in roughly 10 minutes.
No cause of fire has been determined but fire crews are working to find one.
No one was injured; however, $150,000 of damage has been reported to the garage, its contents, and exposure.
Gold Cross Ambulance and the Grand Chute Fire Department assisted in putting out the flames.
