There will be a Civil War School Day held by the Manitowoc County Historical Society, 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc, later this month.
The program is scheduled for Friday, September 27th, from 9:30 to 2:00 p.m.
Participants will learn how the soldiers and citizens lived during the national conflict over a century ago.
During the event, artillery and cavalry demonstrations will be shown, as well as hands-on activities.
