The Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers are ranked ninth in Division Four as the latest wissports.net coaches’ girls’ volleyball rankings were released Tuesday.
It’s the debut appearance for MLHS, who’ve won three of their first five matches coming into this week against some stiff competition.
Valley Christian is tenth in D-4, with another Oshkosh school, Lourdes Academy, receiving honorable mention recognition.
Manitowoc Lincoln, who did not play a match last week, fell out of the Division One rankings.
Bay Port of the FRCC jumps all the way from honorable mention all the way to sixth, with Kimberly receiving honorable mention recognition.
Sheboygan Christian and Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran are each up a spot from last week in Division Five, checking in at number two and three, respectively.
Despite a 1 and 5 record heading into this week, the Howards Grove Tigers are giving honorable mention recognition in Division Two, reflective of the competition they’ve played. St. Mary Catholic fell five notches from fifth to tenth in Division Three, with Bonduel receiving votes.
Finally, in Division Two, Luxemburg Casco and Fox Valley Lutheran (Appleton) remain one and two, respectively.
Waupaca checks in at number eight, and Oconto Falls is number nine.
The Boys coaches’ poll, with one division, has Kimberly third and Appleton North ninth.
