The City of Sheboygan will be hosting its first-ever Electric Vehicle Expo later this week.
On Saturday (September 14th) the Expo will be held at Maywood Park from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
The city’s Sustainability Task Force is inviting community members to attend the Electric Vehicle Expo which will showcase innovations in electric transportation.
The event will not solely focus on electric cars but include bikes and motorboats as well.
There will also be a panel of experts speaking at the expo from 10:30 to 11:30 about charging infrastructure, maintenance, and the environmental impacts of electric vehicles.
Sheboygan and those involved are aiming to raise awareness of the benefits that electric transportation provides such as reduced emissions and lower long-term costs.
Maywood Park is located at 3615 Mueller Road and more information on the event can be found online at sheboyganwi.gov/evexpo.
