Silas’ Support Squad is fundraising to raise money for a young boy from Two Rivers who was diagnosed with B-cell leukemia.
Silas Keeling, a 7-year-old boy from Two Rivers, received this diagnosis two weeks ago and will be receiving chemotherapy twice a week in addition to blood transfusions.
As Silas begins his journey to beating leukemia, Silas’ Support Squad has begun fundraising to help with his battle.
Multiple events are lined up for this month, and a GoFundMe has been set up for Silas.
On Sunday (September 15th), Smoke Road will perform at Lonz’s Tannery Club, which will hold a 50/50 raffle, with proceeds benefiting Silas and his journey.
Then, on Tuesday the 17th, the Junior Raiders Middle School football team will also be hosting a 50/50 raffle at their game at Two Rivers High School.
The Junior Raiders will match and donate the proceeds from both the 50/50 raffle and gate proceeds.
Silas’ Support Squad also asks people to send a card and message to Silas addressed to Silas Support Squad, PO BOX 121, Two Rivers, WI 54241.
