The Manitowoc Lincoln Ships girls’ volleyball team will host a quadrangular Saturday at the JFK.
It features four of the perennially best Division One programs in the state, including Lincoln.
Coach Mary Beth Dixon’s squad takes a 9 and 2 record into today’s action, with their first match scheduled for 12:30 against the state’s top-ranked D-1 program, Divine Savior Holy Angels.
The other two teams coming to town are Arrowhead of Hartland and Fond Du Lac. Matches begin at 10:00 a.m.
Other volleyball action this Saturday includes Manitowoc Lutheran, ranked ninth in Division Four, traveling to the Shawano Invitational with matches beginning at 9:00 a.m., and Valder’s heads to Juneau for the Dodgeland Invitational beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Elsewhere, Sheboygan Lutheran participates in The Sheboygan South Invite, and Appleton West hosts the Terror Invite.
