The DOT is reminding motorists of some overnight closures today (September 16th) as a part of the I-41 expansion project between Appleton and De Pere.
The north and southbound lanes will be closed between Wisconsin Avenue (Exit 138) and Richmond Street (exit 142) from 11:00 tonight to 4:30 Tuesday morning.
The northbound Wisconsin Avenue on-ramp, the southbound on-ramp at Richmond Street, and the north and southbound on-ramps at Highway 15 will also be closed overnight.
There are three other long-term closures that are expected to be lifted later this month. County Road N between Elm Drive and Patriot/Moasis Drives, the southbound ramps at County Road N, and Rose Hill Road over I-41 between Fairlane Drive and E. Evergreen Drive will reopen between mid and late September.
The full project is expected to take six years to complete.
