A Manitowoc man is facing charges after he allegedly attacked another person twice.
A police report states that officers were called to the intersection of South 19th and Madison Streets at 3:45 Sunday afternoon on a reported assault.
The victim told police that they had a run-in with an individual two days prior, where they saw him “putting hands on a female.”
The victim broke up the altercation, which caused the suspect to strike them.
Then, on Sunday, they were walking their dog in the 1200 block of South 19th Street when the suspect came out of a residence and confronted the victim again.
The man again punched the victim three times before running back into the home.
Police then spoke with another individual who knew the suspect, but hadn’t seen anything.
They said the suspect told him that the victim had entered the home and that he forced them back outside.
While the suspect was not arrested that day, he was listed as being in the Manitowoc County Jail this morning, as charges of Battery and Disorderly Conduct were filed against him.
