The Manitowoc County Historical Society is getting ready for its Civil War Remembered weekend, and they have announced another addition to the festivities.
Guests are invited to participate in the Civil War Evening Lantern Tour and Dance on Saturday, September 28th.
The tour will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will highlight what camp life was like during the Civil War after the sun went down.
Participants will “Feel like part of the encampment as period-dressed historical interpreters lead you by lantern light through the camps.”
The event is designed for all ages with advanced registration required.
Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children 4 to 17.
