The Manitowoc County Public Safety Committee is reminding residents of their final Scams & Frauds Targeting Seniors sessions, which are scheduled for next week.
Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of age, to learn more about how scammers and fraudsters target senior citizens and how to avoid being the next victim.
Both sessions will be held on Wednesday, September 25th, with the first running from 11:00 to noon at the Lester Public Library in Two Rivers.
Ben Merens, an Outreach Specialist with the Wisconsin DATCP, will then travel to the Whitelaw Fire Department for the final class, which will run from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
