A Marinette man has been charged with possession of child pornography.
A press release yesterday (September 18th) from the Marinette County District Attorney confirmed that an investigation led to Brandon Clark of the City of Marinette being handed the charges.
In July of this year, the Sheriff’s Office received information that suspected child sexual abuse material was being downloaded at Clark’s address.
After obtaining a search warrant, Marinette County deputies located electronic devices that were confirmed to contain images of child pornography and virtual child pornography.
Clark was then arrested on charges of possession of child pornography, virtual child pornography, THC, and drug paraphernalia, all of which have repeat offender modifiers.
At a bail hearing yesterday, Clark received a $10,000 cash bond, with the condition that he may not have internet access.
