The Roncalli Jets were chosen as The Wisconsin State Network High School Football Team of Week Four.
The Jets, under Head Coach Paul Kinsella, improved to 3 and 1 on the season with an 8 to 0 victory over Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian in Kohler last Friday night.
Senior quarterback Landon Chapulny for 224 yards and a touchdown, while the Jet defense recorded four interceptions en route to snapping a 35-game Eastern Wisconsin Conference losing streak that dated back to the 2018 season.
Roncalli received slightly more than 200 votes than EWC foe and undefeated Kiel from high school football fans who cast their vote on a weekly basis on wissports.net.
Weekly nominees are posted on Monday afternoon, and the winner is posted on Thursday afternoon.
The Jets look to improve to 4 and 1 on Friday night when they host the New Holstein Huskies at Ron Rubick Field in Manitowoc.
The game will be broadcast on 97.1 FM WCUB and cubradio.com beginning at 6:40 p.m.
