Two individuals have been displaced following a house fire in Green Bay.
WBAY reports that the Green Bay Metro Fire Department received a call today around 12:30 a.m. reporting smoking coming from a house in the 1600 block of Eastman Avenue.
The call was made by bystanders who also attempted to alert anyone inside of the fire, but no one was home at the time.
Arriving Green Bay fire crews contained the flames to the garage and a portion of the attic.
The blaze was put out in under ten minutes, but the cause of the fire is not known at this time.
Green Bay Fire Officials applauded those who called in the fire, stating they likely saved the two displaced individuals from even more fire damage to the house.
