More work will be done on the Rahr-West Art Museum.
The Manitowoc Common Council approved a bid to repaint the outside of the museum since it’s been some time since it was last done.
The bid went to S&S Painting and Restoration for $38,900.
Mayor Justin Nickels thanked the “folks at the Rahr West Foundation who are helping also pay for that.”
The project should be getting started soon according to Nickels.
The museum has had several upgrades over the last few years which included elevator upgrades and fixing of a portion of the museum’s roof.
S&S Painting was the only bid for the project.
