A new publisher in Manitowoc has announced the name of its very first book.
“Opening Nights” is a collection of theater stories penned by Bev Denor, Rick Gerroll, Hevin Hansen, Gary Retzak, Kerry A. Trask, Emily M. Trask, and Brad Zimmermann, published by Fresh Water Press.
Bill Fricke, who is no stranger to the stage, said of the book, “Anyone who has ever been involved in community theater will enjoy this collection.”
A book launch party has been announced to celebrate the first book published vt Fresh Water Press.
It will begin at 6:30 p.m. on October 17th at the Stage Door Pub, located at Franklin Street in downtown Manitowoc. The launch event is free and open to the public, with cake being served and a cash bar.
Copies of Opening Nights will be available for purchase during the event with a special thank you to LaDeDa Books.
Fresh Water Press was founded in February 2024 by Tracey Koach, Peggy Turnbull, and Tara Huck, who formed the publishing company to promote literature throughout our Lakeshore communities featuring work from local authors.
