A statewide organization is looking to help teach young people about preparedness.
ReadyWisconsin is helping bring knowledge to the youth as disasters become more frequent and severe.
Greg Engle, the Wisconsin Emergency Management Administrator, said in a news release, “Making sure kids are equipped with safety skills now will keep them calm and confidant when emergencies and disasters occur.”
Educators are offering Student tools for emergency planning in the classroom designed for fourth and fifth-grade students.
