Requests are available again for the Manitowoc County Fish and Game’s FORWARD Endowment program.
Friends of Resource, Wildlife, and Recreational Development or FORWARD helps provide money to groups that focus on hunting, fishing, conservation, and related education.
This year, Manitowoc County Fish and Game say the FORWARD Endowment was completely redesigned to a new unitrust format that gives the group more flexibility in funding projects important to the community and allows the endowment to fund larger projects if deemed appropriate.
The format change also allows for fewer limits on related spending, so no specific amount will be announced for groups that apply.
Leede Research will again coordinate the gifting process. Any group interested can apply for the endowment on the Manitowoc County Fish and Games website.

The selection of grants will be made at a committee meeting in March next year.
The FORWARD Endowment has provided over $150,000 in grants and projects throughout the county.
