Joe Gow, the former chancellor of UW-La Crosse, is considering legal action if the University of Wisconsin fires him for making adult films.
Gow, who has been removed from his role as chancellor, told reporters that he might sue to retain his position as a professor.
He had a hearing with UW regents on Friday, which he described as unproductive, claiming that no questions were directed at him.
Gow maintains that producing adult content with his wife falls under his First Amendment rights.
The university, however, is pushing to remove him from his teaching role, with their attorney stating, “Dr. Joe has got to go.”
