Governor Tony Evers of Wisconsin foresees another round of disagreements with Republican legislators over the state budget in 2025.
Speaking at the Wisconsin Counties Association, Evers mentioned he expects to face familiar budget challenges from previous years.
His primary focus for the upcoming budget is addressing childcare issues and securing additional funding for the University of Wisconsin.
Over the past three budgets, Republicans have either amended or completely overhauled Evers’ proposals and plan to follow a similar approach next year.
