The Walmart in Manitowoc was evacuated this morning out of safety concerns.
The Manitowoc Fire Department was called to a report of smoke coming from the building’s roof.
They had all employees and shoppers exit the building while they investigated the incident.
According to the Manitowoc Police Department, no threat was reported, and the call was relatively minor.
Manitowoc PD also stated that the fire department will likely give the public more information on the incident soon.
