Two of the best local high school girls’ volleyball teams meet in Valders tonight (September 24th).
The Valders Vikings, at 16 and 3, host state-ranked 11 and 2 Manitowoc Lutheran in a non-conference match in the Vikings’ gym.
The Lancers ranked second in the latest wissports.net Division Four coaches’ poll released Tuesday afternoon, look for a ninth consecutive victory. In contrast, the Vikings look for the home-court advantage to help propel them to a huge victory.
Other matches include 8 and 1 Kiel hosting Plymouth on staff appreciation night, Mishicot traveling to Hilbert, and Reedsville hosting Kohler.
All matches begin at 7:00 p.m.
In Boys Soccer, Kiel and Roncalli meet a second time in four days, this time at Roncalli.
The Raiders edged The Jets 1 to 0 at last Saturday’s Kiel tournament.
The match is at 4:30. Lincoln hosts De Pere at 6:30 at Rubick Field tonight. In Girls’ Tennis, Manitowoc Lincoln hosts Bayport, and Roncalli/Two Rivers hosts Howards Grove Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah in Two Rivers.
Both matches begin at 4:00 p.m., and in Girls Swimming, Manitowoc Lincoln travels to Green Bay Southwest to meet Green Bay United at 5:30 p.m.
