Manitowoc is getting into the Halloween spirit.
Visit Manitowoc will have their 2nd annual Pumpkin Palooza October 16 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.m. in Burger Boat park.
Free and open to the public, this event is an early Halloween celebration that allows attendees to show their creativity carving and painting pumpkins, while supplies last.
Participants can bring their own tools, and all minors should be accompanied by an adult.
Limited tools, markers, and paints will be available.
Courtney Hansen, the Director of Tourism for Visit Manitowoc, says the first edition went very well with “over 100 festive jack-o-lanterns, paired with the beautiful mums that are planted in downtown planters.”
Hansen also said she is looking forward to continuing to grow this event in the years to come.
