A Kaukauna woman’s bond has been set at $25,000 cash after she was charged with purposely turning on water and causing thousands of dollars in damage to new homes.
Fox 11 reports that 40-year-old Kendall Strobel-Nieft made her first appearance in Outagamie County court and is now facing eight criminal charges.
A criminal complaint alleges four incidents of her purposely turning on water, including three from June through August 2021 and one in July this year.
The complaint also says Strobel-Nieft allegedly admitted to police that she was going into homes for remodeling ideas, but she then turned on the water in sinks and showers to damage the homes.
According to police, Strobel-Nieft also told them that “she never got in trouble as a young woman, and this made her feel something she hasn’t felt before.”
Her next court appearance is set for October 21st. She has been charged with criminal damage to property and burglary.
