A Milwaukee woman who had been reported critically missing has been found safe in Florida.
Laquita Ward was discovered sleeping at Fort Lauderdale Airport on September 15th, though authorities at the time were unaware she was missing from Milwaukee.
Ward, who has a condition that affects her cognitive abilities, was found again this week after Milwaukee Police upgraded her status to critically missing.
She returned to Milwaukee yesterday on a flight home, and her family has expressed their gratitude for her safe return.
