There will be a new judge on the U.S. District Court for Eastern Wisconsin.
The U.S. Senate voted bipartisan to confirm Byron Conway as the next judge.
Conway was recommended to Wisconsin Senators Tammy Baldwin and Ron Johnson by the bipartisan Wisconsin Federal Nominating Commission and earned support from both Democrats and Republicans.
Balwin says Conway has a proven track record and temperament for the position and she looks forward to seeing him serving Wisconsin’s Eastern District with fairness and distinction.
Conway will be taking over for Judge William Griesbach, who was made a senior judge.
Conway graduated from Marquette University Law School and holds a business degree from Santa Clara University.
