Chamber’s Safety, Health & Wellness Committee is gearing up for the 2024 Safety, Health & Wellness Symposium.
It will be at Orion Energy Systems 2210 Woodland Dr., Manitowoc, October 3rd, from 7:30 to 12:00 p.m.
There will be breakfast followed by a presentation on current trends for employers. There will also be guest speakers, including Lt. Andrew Beck and Investigator Alex Nebel of the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department Metro Drug Unit.
They will provide an introduction of the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department Metro Drug Unit, their mission, drug trends in the Manitowoc County area, provide an overview of behaviors and indicators of drug use.
Beck and Nabel will also discuss what to do if drug use is suspected and employer-related drug topics and how law enforcement would handle those situations.
Admission price is $25.00 for Chamber Members and $50.00 for Non-Members. Cancelations that are made within 48 hours of event are non-refundable.
