Wisconsin’s largest pumpkin has been crowned at this year’s Ginormous Pumpkin Festival in Altoona.
Jim Ford’s pumpkin weighed in at an impressive 2,551 pounds, setting a new state record.
Ford’s entry was one of five pumpkins at the event that surpassed the two-thousand-pound mark.
The festival, hosted by the Chippewa Valley Giant Pumpkin Growers, highlights the region’s status as a top producer of massive pumpkins.
