The City of Sheboygan is seeking the public’s input on an amendment to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan.
The city will be accepting comments from community members starting today (October 1st) through November 2nd.
This proposed amendment involves the reprogramming of $180,000 in down payment assistance funding for parks and recreational improvements in low to moderate-income areas of the city.
The improvements in the amendment will deal with upgrades to shelters and playground equipment in these areas.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires a 30-day public comment period for such amendments and on November 3rd, it will be submitted to the HUD.
