Manitowoc Lincoln high school are all in good spirits as it is homecoming week.
Lincoln will hold multiple events this week to help get the students even more excited for the dance and the fun to come.
Lincoln Principal Micah Hoffman talks about all the fun events planned for the schools special week, as well as the mood in the halls.
“Homecoming is the time when everybody comes together, and that’s the thing I look forward to the most,” he explained. “(Wednesday) night, the bonfire and Friday of the parade, the powder and the watching everybody, all the students and the staff, be having a good time, in celebration of Lincoln. Is it just fun.”
Hoffman also told us about what he has seen in the halls of the school.
“The main floor looks great, and the spirit days, I think they’re doing all right,” he noted. “We have got got some pretty solid spirit here.
Hoffman also says he has high hopes for all of the events this week.
“I just hope they’re well attended. I hope that everybody has a good time and is safe and smart,” he told Seehafer News. ”We want to win to win football game, and as far as the dance goes, I hope there is some good music, and everybody has a great time.”
The ships will play their homecoming game this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Ron Rubic Field.
The dance will begin at 7:30 in the JFK Fieldhouse.
