For the first time this season, the Manitowoc Lincoln Tennis team was swept yesterday.
In their final regular season meet, the Ships were in Green Bay, taking on Notre Dame, and the Tritons took all seven matches.
Jordin Popp fell to Lucy Lawton 6-2, 6-3, while Allison Gates lost to Mia Miller 6-2, 6-2, Jersie Pankratz only won a single game against Anna Miller, and Abbie Kaiser put up a fight in set two, but eventually lost 6-0, 6-4.
For the first time this season, the duo of Taylor Peterson and Zylia Kleinfeldt lost 6-1, 6-3, while Breleigh Kowalski/Reilly Blaser and Mya Schneider/London Vang were both swept 6-0, 6-0.
The Ships have a few days to work out the kinks before they travel to the Sports Core in Kohler for the WIAA Subsectional meet on October 8th.
