The Lakeshore Wind Ensemble will be opening its 41st concert season at the Capitol Civic Center.
The ensemble will be performing Music of the Masters on Saturday, October 12th, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Music of the Masters explores the music and sounds of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings.
The Lakeshore Wind Ensemble will perform medleys from all three movies as well as Johan de Meij’s award-winning symphony which was inspired by Tolkien’s iconic book series.
Attendees will be able to decide whether they enjoy the music of the movies or the books more as they are guided through the adventures of hobbits, elves, and more.
There will also be an appearance by “The Nine” a Lord of the Rings inspired costuming group who will be available for photos.
