The City of Sheboygan has announced they will be holding a landlord training program.
The informative session will be held on November 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in City Hall’s Council Chambers.
The landlord training program aims to give landlords the essential resources and knowledge to manage their properties legally and effectively.
Some of the things an attendee can expect to learn about include code compliance and protecting your rights, fair and legal practices for tenant screenings, the legal rights and responsibilities of tenants, and much more.
Participants will have the opportunity to gain insights and ask questions with a local attorney specializing in landlord and tenant law.
Representatives from local police, fire, and building inspection departments will be present as well.
The program costs $15 to attend and will include a 100-plus page resource manual and training materials.
