The Valders Fire Department got a donation from a charity ride.
The department announced on Facebook that Spokes and Folks donated $2,150 as part of their charity bike ride in early September.
This year, it was in memory of Brandon Schroeder, who passed away unexpectedly in September of 2019.
Schroeder was a member of the Valders Fire Department before he passed.
The check was accepted by Assistant Fire Chief Bob Ebert and Critical Car Medic Jonathon Dishinger.
