The city of Sheboygan is one of seven municipalities to get a grant from the Wisconsin DNR.
Urban Forestry Catastrophic Storm Grants are used to help with fixing damage caused by statewide extreme storms that took place between June 21-25th.
Each applicant, including Sheboygan, is getting between $5,000 and $29,000.
About $139,000 in grants was available.
The grants will go toward tree repair, removal, or replacement.
Other municipalities that received funding include the town of Delevan along with the cities of La Crosse, Middleton, Phillips, and Watertown.
The Village of Williams Bay also received some funding.
