A U.S. Senate is getting support from over 100 business leaders in Wisconsin, including some from Manitowoc County.
Incumbent Tammy Baldwin’s campaign announced the “Business Leaders for Baldwin” coalition yesterday (October 7th).
The coalition includes Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry CEO Sachin Shivaram, who says of the senator, “Her work on the Made in America Act, which prioritizes American-made products in federal projects, has directly benefited manufacturers like ours, ensuring that our industry remains competitive and robust.”
The coalition also includes leaders from restaurants, farms, law firms, among others. Another local supporter in the coalition is Larry Krueger from Valders.
Baldwin is running for a third term in the senate against Businessman Eric Hovde, who’s been critical of Baldwin’s special interests and has said that she isn’t for Wisconsin anymore in political ads.
