The Sheboygan Area School District (SASD) has been named to the Forbes list of top employers in America.
Forbes releases a top employers list each year, and in 2024, SASD ranks 35th out of the 75 recognized in Wisconsin.
Of those 75 employers recognized, SASD is the only school district in the state to receive the honor from Forbes.
SASD Superintendent Jake Konrath was honored to be selected to the list and said, “Being named on this list is a recognition of our employees’ dedication to our students and the community.”
Three other Sheboygan-based companies made the list with Acuity ranked fourth, the Kohler Company ranked 43rd, and Johnsonville coming in at 65th.
This is the second time SASD has made the Forbes Best Employers list, with the first coming in the inaugural list in 2019.
