An evening to help understand homelessness is back for another night.
Cardboard City 2024 takes place tomorrow (October 12th) night and into Sunday morning.
The fundraiser collaborated with Habitat for Humanity Manitowoc County, Hope House, and The Haven, bringing awareness to what those who are homeless face, including living out in the elements.
Anyone who is helping can pledge $20 or $60 for a family and have the option to sleep overnight in a cardboard box home, tent, or in your car in the First Presbyterian Church parking lot.
There is also a program with guest speakers from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.
Last year, the three organizations raised over $12,000, with a portion of the money going to each group.
