Manitowoc Lincoln Cross Country runners competed in Brillion during an invite last night.
Head Coach Michael Bubolz explained that Grace Backus led the girls’ team, finishing with the best time of 22:33 in the 5K. On the boy’s side, Micah Swemke led the way, with the boy’s team getting the best time of 20:15 in the 5K.
The entire Lincoln girls’ team finished 9th, while the boys finished 10th out of the 14 participating schools.
The Lincoln Boys’ Cross Country Team’s record is 59-51, while the girls’ record is 78-27 on the season.
