The suspect in a recent hit-and-run in Sheboygan has been arrested.
The Sheboygan Police Department confirmed that the arrest occurred on Wednesday (October 9th) after nearly a week of searching.
The suspect is a 41-year-old male from Fredonia, and the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Department assisted Sheboygan PD in apprehending him.
The white 2001 Lincoln Continental used in the incident was also recovered in Milwaukee.
The 41-year-old is being held in the Sheboygan County Detention Center, where he is being referred to the county’s District Attorney’s Office for a charge of hit-and-run, causing great bodily harm.
The victim remains in a Sheboygan hospital in critical condition.
While the incident remains under investigation, the Sheboygan Police Department thanks the public for the tips they sent in over the past few days.
