The Green Bay Police Department is investigating a fatal car crash involving a service van and a pedestrian.
Green Bay PD were dispatched to the 1100 block of Main Street just before 11:30 p.m. Friday (October 11th) for the incident.
When they arrived, they found a man, a 29-year-old from Eaton, lying in the roadway who had been struck by a service van while trying to cross the street.
He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
On Sunday (October 13th), the 29-year-old later died as a result of his injuries.
The driver of the van cooperated with authorities and remained on the scene.
Initial investigations indicate that neither speed nor alcohol played a factor in the fatal collision.
Currently, no citations or charges have been issued, and the investigation remains ongoing.
