A vehicle thief in Sheboygan has been arrested.
The Sheboygan Police Department was called yesterday (October 14th) around 4:00 p.m. for a report of a stolen vehicle.
A short time after the call, Sheboygan officers located the vehicle and attempted to stop the driver, a 35-year-old from Cascade.
The vehicle came to a stop at North Taylor Drive and State Highway 23, where authorities attempted to negotiate with the 35-year-old.
These negotiations were successful, and the Cascade native was taken into custody without incident.
The Sheboygan Police Department thanked the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, Village of Kohler Police Department, and Wisconsin State Patrol for their assistance as well as the community for their patience while roadways were blocked off during negotiations with the car thief.
