Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul issued a reminder that threatening poll workers is a crime.
In a statement ahead of next month’s election, Kaul emphasized his office’s commitment to ensuring a fair and free election while also safeguarding voters’ rights.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice will be on alert for any threats or acts of intimidation toward voters and election workers.
Kaul stressed that any form of voter intimidation or threats is illegal and will be addressed by his office.
