The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued a fire danger warning due to dry conditions in parts of central and northern Wisconsin.
Thirteen counties now require burn permits, meaning residents must get permission before burning materials like garbage or brush.
The affected counties include Columbia, Crawford, Green Lake, Marquette, Portage, Richland, Sauk, Waupaca, Waushara, and parts of Oconto, Dane, Grant, and Iowa counties.
