The charges against a man accused of child neglect are now official.
39-year-old Andrew J. Tadych of Manitowoc was given a $1,000 signature bond on charges of Neglecting a Child, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting an Officer.
He was arrested after a witness reported seeing him stumbling around in the area of South 18th and Hamilton Streets on Saturday (October 12th) while pulling a child in a wagon.
Tadych allegedly passed out on the side of the road while the wagon was still in the road.
Tadych was then arrested, and the child was handed over to a family member.
He was ordered to maintain absolute sobriety and to have no unsupervised contact with the aforementioned child.
Tadych’s initial appearance is scheduled for November 7th.
